Mental Spaces

I often ask myself what is being Caribbean ?
I’m not sure I can call myself Caribbean, or maybe just a French Caribbean.
Because at the end of the day I still don’t have a slightest clue to what makes me who I am, and what makes me similar to the rest of the islands around. For whom most of them
I’ve never visited nor exchanged with to compare and grow from the experience.

We are neighbors and still foreigners to each other.

And the cycle just keeps repeating itself.
